BiblioKimi is a website dedicated to studies on Coptology, where 'Kimi' means Egypt in Coptic language. It's a sort of e-library, in which we are trying to index all the resources available on the Internet in the field of Coptic culture, heritage and history so that it can be easily accessible to interested readers and scholars everywhere.
يبليوكيمى هو موقع لكل المهتمين بالدراسات القبطية، فهو بمثابة مكتبة إلكترونية نحاول أن نجمع فيها كل ما يمكننا الوصول إليه من المصادر على الانترنت والتي تتناول التراث والثقافة والتاريخ القبطي، لتكون في متناول القراء والدارسين المهتمين بالقبطيات في كل مكان.
Approach
Our approach in BiblioKimi is more academic than religious; i.e. it targets researchers and scholars interested in Coptic heritage regardless of their religious background. Hence, the site's main concern is not books about religion as thus –which have their own dedicated sites - but rather books and researches in the field of Coptology in general.
مدخلنا في بيبليوكيمى هو مدخل دراسي أكاديمي أكثر منه ديني، فهو يستهدف الباحثين والدارسين المهتمين بالتراث القبطي بصرف النظر عن انتماءاتهم الدينية والعقائدية. لذا فإن التركيز فيه ليس على البحوث الدينية بصفتها تلك – والتي لها الكثير من المواقع التي تهتم بها – بل بالأكثر على الكتب والدراسات التي تبحث في القبطيات بصفة عامة.

A. Coptic History/ Culture
Coptic history, culture and heritage are the prime research field of BiblioKimi. This includes everything about the Coptic Church's history, rites, beliefs and Patristic thought and writings. Also of importance are Coptic architecture, art and literature as well as Coptic language. All books and resources related to these fields fall within the main research sphere of BiblioKimi.

التاريخ والثقافة والتراث القبطي هم المجال الرئيسي للموقع، ويشمل ذلك كل ما يخص تاريخ الكنيسة القبطية وطقوسها وعقائدها وفكر آبائها وكتاباتهم وكذلك العمارة والفن والأدب القبطي واللغة القبطية وكل ما يخصها... فكل ما يتناول هذه الموضوعات هو في مجال البحث الرئيسي للموقع.
B. Christian History/ Culture
Until 451 AD, the history and culture of Christianity in general was much the same as that of the Coptic Church, and it stayed this way for some time even after that date, until the Coptic Church was somehow isolated, and lost its contact with the Christian world outside Egypt. Hence, the early Christian history and heritage constitutes a field covered by BiblioKimi.

حتى سنة 451م كان تاريخ وتراث المسيحية بصفة عامة هو نفسه تاريخ وتراث الكنيسة القبطية، واستمرت هذه العلاقة أيضاً مستمرة لفترة ليست بقليلة حتى بعد هذا التاريخ قبل أن تنعزل الكنيسة القبطية ويضعف اتصالها بالعالم المسيحي خارج مصر. لذلك فتاريخ وتراث المسيحية المبكرة هو من المجالات التي يغطيها هذا الموقع.
C. Egyptian History/ Culture
The word Kimi is the name of Egypt in Coptic, and the Copts and their church have always been part of Egypt. Therefore Egyptian history, culture, civilization, art, science, literature and heritage in general are directly related to the field of Coptology.

كلمة كيمى في اللغة القبطية تعنى مصر، والأقباط والكنيسة القبطية هم جزء لا يتجزأ من مصر، لذلك فتاريخ مصر وثقافتها وحضارتها وتراثها الفني والعلمي والأدبي بصفة عامة من المجالات شديدة العلاقة بمجال القبطيات.
D. Related Histories/ Cultures
There are some cultures and civilizations that have been especially interactive with the Coptic culture. Most significant of these are the Syrians and their church, the Nubian church, history and heritage and the church of Ethiopia among others. Hence, studies that focus on such cultures are also considered as one of the important resources for Coptology researchers.
